Is it even worth installing new GPU driver every time theirs a new one available?

MxZeal

If the games i play are not mentioned in the NVIDIA driver release notes should i even install them?

I never notice a difference ever with driver updates.

Really about 6 months after a card is released all the performance improvements are done and anything after that is very incremental. LTT even did a video about this IIRC. So unless you are seeing issues in a new game and there is a driver to fix it then there is no real need to update drivers.

I found some things in the latest driver not listed. Can't hurt to install it and roll back if you don't like it.

I agree with this. Most of the time there could be some small improvements that could be shown when the new driver comes out, and some hidden ones. Especially with newer games that have come out. Just because your game isnt on the title doesnt mean its not worth the update. Roll back if your having issues.

i always install the latset drivers because i want too, dosent really matter much for preformance but  i like to have the latest ones because there is usiually something better with them then the old ones, even if its just for one game

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

If there's a fix or something you need in it, yes. Other than that don't bother.
