660 Ti vs 760

SpOoOoKy

I need help assemblin a new PC.
i5 4670K + ASUS z87-A + Corsari CX600.
I will use it esclusivly for Sketchup and Lumion 3.0 (NO GAMES).

Since Sketchup use only the CPU i was thinking to overclock the 4570K to 4.2 max 4.5 MHz
Coller Master Hyper EVO in Push-Pull
whith 2 Corsair Air Series SP120 High Perf.  2350 rpm, 35 dBA (CO-9050008-WW).

The noctua are MORE expensive!

Lumion 3 use only the GPU.

http://lumion3d.com/forum/f-a-q/lumion-2-minimum-hardware-requirements/

http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html

My question is:
GTX 660Ti  (1344 CudaCores / BusWidth 192-bit )  185 Euro
        760     (1152 CC              / BW           256-bit )  200

Both ASUS DC2 2GB

http://www.hwcompare.com/14802/geforce-gtx-660-ti-vs-geforce-gtx-760/

http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-760-vs-GeForce-GTX-660-Ti

I don't understand what will benefit more the renderdering time of Lumion 3.
Is better to have more CudaCores or BusWidth?

More Cuda Cores +192 of the 660Ti or
More Bus Width +64 of the 760.

Will i see benefits if i spend 15 Euro more for the 760 for the +64 Bus Width but less -192 Cuda Cores
or is better the 660Ti that has more + 192 Cuda Cores but less Bus Width -64?
So the question is:
(+192 CC ; -64BW) 660 Ti  vs 760 (-192CC ; +64BW ) +15 Euro?

Considering that the 670 ( 250 Euro ) is out of my budget?

Thanks.

well the 760 is meant to replace the 660 and 660 ti so I would go for the newer hardware since your building a new system

The bandwidth is better. Also, don't waste your money on the DC2--just get the cheapest 760 with a decent cooler or bump up to a 770.

CUDA is better for Lumion right now but everything is moving towards OpenCL so AMD is a viable option.

With this said maybe consider a 7950 or 9 series?

Maybe the 9000 series and see new Lumion benchmarks.

Thanks for all the answers.
You have been very helpful.
I'm going for the GTX 760 as your advices and becouse i'm more for nVIDIA .
The ASUS DC2 is discounted , so the cheapest, and have good cooling solution.

Any other advice for my build?

- i5-4670K.

- ASUS z87-A.

- Cooler Master 212 Hyper EVO.+ X2 Corsair Air Series SP120 High Perf Push-Pull (45 Euro).

( Any budget water cooling soltion like:
- Anteck 620 (45 Euro ) or
- Corsair H55 (50 Euro)
that can push the i5 to about 4.5GHz?
Dont know if will benefit in any aspect )

- Kingston HYPERX 2x4GB 1600 CL9.
- HYPERX BEAST 2x4GB 1600 CL9.
( Same price but maybe have prolem with the 212 EVO )
( Maybe i will take a single 8Gb and add later an other 8Gb )

- Corsari CX600.
- Cooler Master Thunder B700.
- OCZ ModXtream PRO 600W. (Dont know if its compatible with Haswell.)
(I'm not planning to go in SLI)

- ENERMAX OSTROG ECA3250-B.
- ENERMAX OSTROG ECA3253-WB.
- CORSAIR CARBIDE SERIES 200R (My choise)
- ZALMAN  Z9-U3.

- And of course the ASUS GTX 760 DC2.

Thanks again.

:( Here in Europe the electronic prices are way more expensive than in USA .

And there are no discounts for PC components.

Anyone know an US site who has good prices like newegg and ships in Italy ?

Thanks anyway.

And other sugestion are more than welcome.
