Validating if windows 10 key is legit

So i just got myself an cheap windows 10 key online and i was wondering if there was some way to validate if my windows 10 key is legit without activating it

I don't think you can. You need to install it and find out. If it snot genuine, you can report it here:

I just asked a Microsoft SRA contact. They don't believe there are any real ways to tell without the OS doing it.
