Is this dangerous for my components when cleaning dust?

Go to solution Solved by Badazzz,

As long as you don't apply to pressure it should be good. It's plastic so it isn't going to discharge any electricity really, and the bristles don't seem like they would create to much friction or pressure with components. Not a bad idea.

You may think this is the most creative idea you've ever seen, or the stupidest. But either way, I tried it and everything is fine and working... so...

Basically my Computer had so much dust I felt like I was going to have an Asthma attack so I quickly grabbed out my Glazing Brush and got to work! Zeal-ss-Basting-Brush-Aqua__41344.131130

So pretty much its designed to glaze things like chicken or something with eggs or whatever. Its just a plastic brush and it worked like a charm at removing dust, but im wondering if it could cause any damage to componenets before I use it as my normal dust remover.

Its made out of plastic and mines a little different, but if its safe I recommend using it because it works really well!

The bristles are pretty soft too as its designed to spread egg or whatever to glaze things. But it works pretty well. The only thing I've encountered is it is a bit grippy because its like a rubbery-plastic, and grips onto the mobo and stuff so it kinda drags a long a bit. I dont put much pressure on either, I just steadily brush it across.

Well, it's silicone so it should be fine. I doubt it will be very effective though. Get you a pancake style air compressor. They're fairly cheap, serve multiple purposes, and work better (also they save money on canned air)

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs
