Twitter loses its free speech

destroyer8769

Twitter has tried free speech, and it's not doing so well, their share price has tanked since they floated. The bullying and harassment has gotten Twitter a fair amount of negative coverage. Operating as they as they have done before clearly isn't an option if the service is to survive, attempting to detoxify the brand amongst a majority of the population is logical thing to try. Obviously if they censor too hard, it could easily lose them more users than they gain, but in their situation they need to do something, and be seen to be doing something by shareholders.

If you have views that twitter now won't let you express, and you really can't just keep them to yourself, there are still places on the internet where you can express them.
