"web browser" choice

yes... i know... we have "firefox" and "chrome" fighting the big battle here
but what about the "other" guys...

on Linux i am a big fan of "iceweasel"

(on Windows i use firefox and chrome "at the same time" for different purposes)

so the question is... what other options we have here ?

and one of those options is an equivalent of "iceweasel" for Windows ?

PD (iceweasel is the Debian based on a modified version of firefox, which Mozilla trademarks in other store brands are replaced, and additional security enhancements are incorporated following the policy of security updates for Debian)

APU = A10

Well, there's opera and safari

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

(I use Netscape 9 lol)

They are all essentialy the same, they just use the modified source code of Firefox or Chromium and add some features like an antivirus (Comodo for example) or extensions or something.

There is Waterfox (a 64 bit browser based on Firefox, although not related to the project). There is also Nightly (a beta browser you could say, unstable but can be fun).

I've been trying Vivaldi for a while, it has its interesting bits and the design is pleasing (made by developers that used to work at Opera).

Maelstorm is a torrent browser based on chrome, It comes with a big concept in mind, not so well on the execution IMHO.

Midori is a simple guy in the browser wars, very low memory consumption, but can make your CPU load spike.

Brave is the latest to join to the party. It's a ad-skipper that removes most of the stuff that is not the content (incluiding trackers).

When I use a Linux-based machine I try to run Midori, since it's like Safari and I like Safari. :P

And then I use Safari for random stuff, and then I'm setting up a VM right now with pretty much every modern (post-2010) web browser for compatibility testing. :P

That chart is so weird... they've broken out the different versions of IE and chrome etc into separate slices, yes haven't bothered to break up that "other" slice that constitutes a quarter of the chart (one of the largest slices).

I also had no idea how much IE was still being used... I kind of hoped it was like <20% by know, especially since there's been a direct link found between IE usage and murder rate :D
