SSD's are the future for one thing. Their prices are decreasing so quickly and the technology going into SSDs is still improving, whereas hard drives improve at a much slower rate, and their prices are not decreasing very quickly either. The biggest reason to get a SSD would be random reads and writes. Hard drives do fairly well when writing and reading sequentially, but random reads and writes as well as the latency involved with hard drives, make them exponentially worse than hard drives.

Currently I have a 1tb hard drive in my system, it's a 5400rpm laptop model in a desktop pc. I would like to have a system drive to boot off and have some games on there. I feel my pc is so slow compared to others and that's why everyone should have an SSD.

I only have a hard drive in my system because I don't have the money for my system now.  Everyone should have a ssd so they can cut down on boot times.  This would help me out a lot?

I am currently working on getting the parts for my first gaming PC build! and that costs money. Money that a high school student with no job doesn't have. So since I am on a budget one of the things I might need to skip out on is a SSD. Or at least a large SSD. This sucks because it would be awesome to have a larger SSD like this to not only store windows and to use as a boot drive! but to also use for some of my most played game(CSGO, EU4, Minecraft) so that they boost faster and in the "Case"(pun/reference to LTT video) of EU4(Europa Universalis 4) a game that auto saves a lot. It would take a lot less time to auto save. So it would be awesome to win this.

Waffles are love. Waffles are life.

My boottimes are really slow, and I don't have money to upgrade

Everyone would have better boottimes, so you can get to your buisiness quicker. The world would be a better place.

I need an SSD because when I first built my computer I was too cheap and stupid to get one. And now my 1tb mechanical drive isn't doing the job well enough for Skyrim with lots of mods. Everyone should get an SSD your computer will love you for it, faster boot times and an overall snappier feel to your old computer. Don't make the same mistakes I made. Set aside some money for an SSD.

I think everyone should get a ssd for fast boot times and to install some programs that take a long time to load.

I would like this ssd to compliment my current rig which up until now has only had an Apacer Usb drive to backup all of my important data. I don't trust my current hdd to preserve my important data safely and effectively ! My little world would be all the better with more Apacer goodness in it. ?

I already have an SSD, but my dad's PC takes at least 10 minutes on a good day to boot up. Boot times would be much faster with an SSD, so I think everyone should have one because then they don't just sit around waiting for their PC to boot up.

Me! Me! I want one! My reasons are.................just 'cause?

I'd actually probably end up giving this to a friend of mine who's in the process of building his computer right now. He's not too sold on getting an SSD (increased cost) but if he actually tried one, there'd be no going back.

Everyone ought to have at least one ssd drive for booting because they allow for such an insanely quick startup.
