You know i'm not sure like on one hand yes it does because its suppose to be a sports car and awd doesn't belong on them but I guess the car was super tail happy as RWD so for safety reasons I get why they would because most people who can afford the F-Type r don't really know how to drive very well.

I would take the V6 F-Type over the V8 just because its a better road car all around and would most likely be a better daily car and you can get the V6 in a manual but not the V8.

Yeah but isn’t that just complete bull? For safety reasons... that’s a big part of the cars personality, being so tail happy. It ruins the heritage, I think. Most people who can afford the hyper cars can’t really handle the power either, but then again things like the P1 and 918 spyder put power down at least twice as well.

I 100% agree with you as i'm a massive fan of RWD cars but i do currently own a mazda6 but it is a super fun car to hoon around town in because it just handles so well but i have had a itch to save up and buy a second car for the summer that is RWD/manual/V8.

Yeah the eight cylinder is more of a poser, I think, you wouldn’t be able to go 10/10 in the R or the V8S like you would the with the two V6’s. Plus, maybe I’m crazy, but I’m not that over-inlove with the V8s’ noise.

Bro, I drive a 2012 focus. My dad bought it for me brand new and even if I could afford like a cayman or something today I would drive this thing to ground for years, way after I finally get my degree.

The problem with the V8s' noise is it crackles all the time no matter what your doing I like pops and crackles when my revs are coming down not when there going up and i'm not a big fan of raspy exhaust notes either.

There’s this local track called MSR Houston and they have a club e46 m3 they rent out. It’s full race spec, like bare metal gutted interior, 90 degree bucket seats, slicks, aero, everything. For good grades last semester my dad rented me 6 laps, and dude I’m telling you it sounds like a real, high revving v6 should. YouTube doesn’t do it justice, at all.

 

I love being near the Texas coast. You get to see supercars year round, if you’re in the right places.

Yea I live in crappy old michigan and just thought I would correct you on the v6 part the BMW uses an inline 6 not trying to be rude just but the inline 6 engine is my favorite engine by far with V8s coming second.

Yeah you got me. That’s what makes an m3, or used to haha. Like the straight 6 engines from Porsche are just better, smoother versions. Like they’re more German than BMW or something

If I had to wish for any engine it would have to be a v12. The harmonics are just outstanding. Straight 6 are perfect for sports cars because they feel so smooth and sound almost as good. I’m not all that into V8s or V10s but I think they’re better than those dumb w12 things bentley makes. The straight 6 is way more obtainable though

One thing I want to point out is the wireless card. If you decide later on that you upgrade your access point to a "Wireless-AC" access point, then having a wireless card that can accept wireless AC will work better than being stuck at wireless N.

If you stick with a particular wireless card (that carries out a "Wireless-N" signal) in your machine, but then say you decide to upgrade to router to something even faster (like "Wireless-AC"), then your wireless card would be "bottle necked" because that card is only taking in so much whereas a "Wireless-AC" card would be 'future-proofed' per say and still be backwards compatible with an older generation wireless standard.

 

There's really no other way I could explain it better.

You did a great job! You’re saying the type of wireless card I have is limited to a certain signal, comfortably. What wireless card would you recommend be for AC-Wireless signals?

As far as what I've seen in stores (particularly where I work at), you could choose between either a TP-Link or ASUS, but let me see if I can pick out one from each MFG and see which one you might like (as long as the prices are right).

That one my brother actually has in his system (though also runs some cable extensions because the signal from my range extender gets weaker to his room) and he likes it.

Heck, instead of the gigabyte one, I know for a fact that Silverstone makes a "DIY" wireless card where you buy the card and antennas, and then you buy a wireless card that would normally fit into a laptop.
