If it isn't automatically enabled, then you can enable it through Windows, Crimson or even the monitor itself on some monitors

8 gb of ram is fine for gaming. If you're going for editing, 16 gb is the norm.

Not really, HDMI should work too.

You sure I thought even at 1080p that you need a displayport cable for 144hz to work unless the hdmi cable is a 1.3 version.

The HDMI port on the 390 is HDMI 1.2. Need someone to confirm this.
