Planning new budget build

So I kinda have a rough idea of what I want originally I was planning to go with something like :

Question is whether it's better to pick up one of the used 3rd gen i5's over the 8320e.

 

Oh and usage is pretty basic, I mostly play stuff like League, D3, Kerbal. I was looking at maybe playing some more RTS games again but nothing super insane all at 1080p no higher.

Yeah, should be great :) Better than an i3-4170 but a little worse than an i5-4460. So you'll be in good shape :)

Alright i'll try grab one of the 2nd hand i5's and look for a decentish mobo to pair it with.

I would agree with you in this situation, but getting something like an FX 6300 or FX 8350 is a great buy.
