Is Sonic.net Internet reliable?

I am planning on to switch ISP from AT&T uverse since it is slow,it always cuts off, prices are bad. Do you think sonic.net will be a better choice?

Not familiar with Sonic.net myself. Are they a DSL or Cable Provider? Also if they are DSL, are they leasing ATT's lines? Because if they use the same lines then you could be getting just as crappy service. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
