Fan configuration

I was wondering what would happen, if you were to install 2 fans on a radiator/heatsink but not push-pull, but pull-pull (push-push). Or more clearly said, they would blow air at each other.

why don't you go ahead and try it? i don't think it would be optimal. both airflows are hot and are pushing against each other.

I'm thinking this can either go 2 ways, work great and both fans are helping each other spin faster or it could go horribly wrong and the fans would be blowing each other the wrong way causing them to slow down causing well less cooling in general.

They would would most likely cancel out any kind of positive flow of air and your temperatures will go higher.

I guess your performance would be as great as your worst fan. There will be a fan only inputting X air in, if the other one can push X+0,2X, it will still only have X avaliable to push.

Planning on trying StarCitizen (Highly recommended)? STAR-NR5P-CJFR is my referal link

It might be a fun experiment--push push and pull pull.

Won't it suck dust in basically if it is pulling/pushing on both sides? But curious in the results :)
