So I think a notch is missing from my backplate, meaning that one of the four corners is empty.Comparing mine to ones of YouTube vids, and even corsair's photos and videos. Also, it isn't just cosmetic, I can't even properly put in the standoffs

Doesn't sound good, if it's new you can RMA under guarantee. Can you upload a photo of it here?
