yes there is difference

How much of a difference?

like anything else in the cooling world 1~3*C

ive had both and its a increase of 2c for me in idle, on load you cant see the difference. the only upgrade that would be worth it would be a full monoblock because its cooling your vrm too. (but theyre usually only made for top tier boards)

I currently have MX, I was wondering if it's worth upgrading to Evo? Is their a difference between MX and EVO in performance?

I would not make that upgrade for performnance, aesthetics though is reasonable.  I've been thinking about upgrading my mx to an evo top (pretty sure you can just change the top, just so I can see my Aurora in one more spot.  The stuff looks great in cpu blocks because of their high turbulance
