help with razer blackwidow chroma TE

I have purchased the blackwidow chroma te about a week, no problems, only today.
When the lights are on max birghtness they make a weird noise, i mean the keyboard is making a strange humming sound, i can hear it only if i i put my ear close to de keyboard.
When i turn the lights off that sound disappear.
I have changed the usb port but that doesnt help.
Should i return it?

Probably, not a fan of razer stuff anyway, their quality is not the best

 

 

the noise sounds like some electrical noise, maybe check your case is grounded and check the USB ports and USB header?

Could just be a faulty keyboard

That's weird, it happens to me too with my LED Power xbox one controller. My guess is the way it's powered? I powered my controller using the front panel headers, i haven't tried the back. Try using the usbs on the back

It isn't loud, only if i put my ear on the keyboard i can hear it. The lights however are working just perfect, only the low buzzing sound when the lights are bright.

I get the same from a Lycosa Mirror when I change the backlight (turn on/off/WASD-only on). every. single. time.

Its just razer quality, you cant do anything about it

Best to return it. Razer is not known for their build quality.

I have sent a ticket to razer.

The keyboards works perfect, the lights are also perfect, only the barely audible humming, especially on colours like green, purple and red.

I tried reinstalling synapse and on my laptop but the result was the same. :(
