Yes. but why not fold on your 970?

Yes. but why not fold on your 970?

 

I'll use it for when I game and then reconfigure the profile so that I have that GPU folding when I'm at idle. No cancer will be safe from me!

I say jiggly-bytes when I see "GB".

It goes down better than you would expect.

You know that folding is FAR from being that stressful, right? Even OCed, folding doesn't really pump up all that heat.

 

 

I'll use it for when I game and then reconfigure the profile so that I have that GPU folding when I'm at idle. No cancer will be safe from me!

You know that there diseases other than cancer being researched, don't you?

That doesn't really happen with folding... aslong as its not running in the upper 80s lower 90s u should be absolutely fine

I was thinking about getting a 750Ti for folding while I use my 970 for normal use. Can I do it in the same rig?

It was one of the first GPUs I'd ever bought, so I thought instead of just letting it sit and collect dust I could re-purpose it to do something good!

I can't really run a stable overclock on it as there is no 6 or 8-pin connectors, but I'm getting about 30K PPD, but with my 970 running as well, I'm getting about 380K PPD overall!

There should be no problem with overclocking those cards without PCI-e power I have 2 750tis and the run at 1390 at the moment just stable folding every weekend 24/3 no problem whatsoever and 30k seems abit low mine are both outputting anywhere from 70k to 85k

Ah, I was looking at the EC for the WU. Silly me :D

I'll take a look into some slight overclocking on it as well. It'll probably be quite mild as I don't want any failed WUs :)
