Galaxy note Edge really slow

Rabadon

I have a galaxy note edge (http://www.samsung.com/global/microsite/galaxynoteedge/noteedge_design.html)

It is super slow. unlocking takes a second. Opening an app lags it and takes awhile

It just does not feel smooth like any other android device I have ever used.

What can i do to speed up?!?!

Check the active apps, you may have a lot of shit in background.

What did you install? You probably have a performance hog app running in the background.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

You may want to format then.

If that doesn't help you have to resort to flashing although I doubt it will come to that.

It started a couple weeks after i bought it I think. then i tried factory reset it and it worked great for a couple weeks then started getting sluggish. I downloaded apps at first but it got slow way after that

Then you probably installed something.

That's my best guess.

Or it maybe touchwiz, some people experienced problems like this (although I never did personally) in that case you could install cyanogen

I actually really like that os. Do you know where I could find a reliable tutorial and download?

You should be able to find everything you need on the cyanogenmod website.

Or you could wait for someone that's using a note edge and has installed that ROM.
