SO, I've spent the last month without internet, I've been surviving of a terrible 3g service ever since i moved out of home into a rental. today I finalised set up for my ADSL
AUD $99 for 1 TB at this speed which includes a capped phone plan

I live in australia. this place is full of dumb ideas :P

Lol your download speed on your 3G is faster than my actual internet

thats not my 3g. thats my new wired internet. I tried Speedtesting my 3g modem, but the flash never loaded. :P

Glad you got your internet back on :)

 

But those speeds... whats the network made out of? string? 99$ with a DL cap?

 

This is terrible... do you live in a rural area?

In the middle of a desert. Where the sand has sand in it...and everything is orange and there is one tree in the town.

its a choice

fast internet with a limit or slow net without at the same price

I have 500gb per month of this, and I got a pretty good deal on it.

This tree you speak of, is it the source of this internet?

 

Just kidding, it wasn't that long ago that internet was as bad as that where I live. Well, over 10 years ago :P

 

Some ISPs really need to sort it out though, that really isn't fully useable by todays standards, but throwing on a DL cap that you probably couldn't use is just an insult. The OP should start a petition or something.

I think Auspost has a faster service then that jaedee, but hay after Saturday - that will be the premium NBN system

 

What sort of speeds are you getting? and whats NBN, is it like Google fibre? I have friends around NSW that seem to be getting some decent enough speeds.

I considered getting that plan, I had the 100GB a month version. Then I decided I need unlimited. 10Mb speeds for me

What sort of speeds are you getting? and whats NBN, is it like Google fibre? I have friends around NSW that seem to be getting some decent enough speeds.

I get 35 down 5 up , the nbn is the fibre roll out by the federal government. But it will most likly get scrapped after Saturday since the government that most likely get in is going to can it

Its all about those volumetric clouds
