I was planning on building a computer with a Pentium G3258 and 4GBs of  DDR3L RAM (Yes I know the RAM is low). The RAM is clocked @ 1600 MHz. However, if I am reading the processor info correctly, it says the Pentium G3258 supports up to 1333 MHz RAM. Will it just underclock the RAM with out any problems? Or will it not work?

the mobo will allow you to run the RAM at 1600MHz

the mobo uses the XMP profiles on the RAM

also L in the DDR3 means low voltage

The memory controller on the G3258 supports speeds up to 1333Mhz.  So while your RAM isn't overclocking, the memory controller on the CPU is being overclocked to reach the speed of 1600mhz.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
