Tecknet M008 16400DPI Mouse Review

I got my Tecknet M008 just over a week ago and decided I'd post a review of it.

 

Unboxing was easy, all there was was the mouse, a tub with foam to put the weights, a manual and warranty guide and the app installation disk.

 

The mouse's sensor is 16400 DPI (adjustable through the app), it uses omron-micro switches, has 13 (including Mouse 1, Mouse 2 and Middle Mouse buttons) programmable buttons (adjustable through the app).

 

CONS; Weight sled thingy was hard to remove, required some force.

            Mouse wheel light is not customizable, changes depending which profile you are using.

            DPI adjustment lights are always red.

            Mouse was hard to use (when coming from crappy probably 100 DPI mice) when first plugged in because it is set to 16400 straight away.

            Packaging looks cheap on the outside.

            App has to be installed through disk.

 

PROS;Cheap at £20.

           Looks good.

           Good build quality (may have dropped it a few times).

           Very customizable! Lots (yet not too many) of options. 

           App easy to navigate.

           Braided cable.

           Fits well into my hand.

           Easy to change profiles (button on the bottom/choose it through the app).

           Nice rubber feet things

           Got a quick response when i asked a question on their website.

           13 (including Mouse 1, Mouse 2 and Middle Mouse buttons) programmable buttons.

           2 Year warranty.
