That cpu is slower than what's in phones/tablets now, just don't expect much.  It will probably lag playing youtube 720p

Might be 20$ and a steal, but 2GB ram Is utterly useless. I dont even understand why they would make a computer with anything less than 4GB. And a Celeron would be the minimum for a processor.

but it runs 480p fine and the screen resolution is only 1024x600 so 480p looks ok

Don't underestimate these little fuckers. Like, I had a hard time believing that this chip could do 1080p YouTube videos under the right circumstance.

I don't underestimate anything. My laptop with Pentium N3540 lags playing 1080p 60, there is no way that thing plays HD lol.

but Android apps run on shity hardware better.

This sounds stupid, but try using the Internet Explorer app if you're in Windows 8.1 (I'd assume Edge is the same way). Last time I tried 1080p30 video on my dad's tablet from YouTube that way, it played, and it played rather well.

That being said, my laptop doesn't handle 1080p60 well, but it's not like I really care for it

Oh youtube 1080p 30 plays on every browser. 60 fps plays at like 35.

Also twitch 720p 30 runs just fine. 720p 60 is lag. But I can blame flash for that.

I don't think Intel Quick Sync or AMD VCE has ever been good at 1080p60 until very recently.

rip on twitch, 720p60 streams work fine for me iirc but 1080p twitch streams run like shit

do realise these things were made 4 years ago - back then it was acceptable in a netbook.
