Is my computer running too hot?

On Idle the CPU (i5 4960k oc'd to 4.6GHZ) sits between 30-40 celsius and the GPU's (2xGTX 960's SSC) sit on 20-30 celsius

On full load the CPU hits about 60-70 and the GPU's hit 65-75

Shall I try to lower these temps or shall I invest in watercooling?

no, temps are fine.

Temperatures for both the CPU and GPUs are acceptable.

Cool master hyper TX3 evo

With 3 noctuas in a push pull config, two mounted on the heat sink and then a 3rd on the case to pull it out the back of the tower

But I've been thinking of actually pulling in air from the back, pulling it across the heat sink and out of the top.

What are the ambient temps? Your temps seem fine though

I have no idea but if I had to guess I'd estimate it at about 18 celsius ish maybe less

Edit: Thank you everyone for your replies and helpfulness, I always thought it was running too hot but guess not!

That's completely fine then :D

I would have expected the temps to be a bit higher with a 92mm cooler but it seems with your fan set-up it's actually pretty good (and since you linked with ebuyer, I'm guessing you live somewhere in Britain ehhhh...nice and cool/cold ambient temps...I probably should close my window during the winter...my room is usually only 5-8c but I never feel cold)

Well that's kind of cold, but I think 30-40 degrees is pretty normal for idle, you shouldn't worry about your temps unless you're hitting 90+, I think Intel even made a post about how their CPUs "like" operating at around 70-80 degrees

bro my home's iMac 5K Radeon GPU hits over 100°C on the die under full load and doesn't lose power.

At least it says it does... but somehow manages to return to normal temperatures in under 30 seconds when the stress period is over. Always had a feeling that the sensor lied.

That's cool haha

Yeah, I live on the coast of the UK so it's quite cold right now, though I have made my room even colder now just for extra cooling.

Not really when you look at what cooler and that its SLI config with open-air cooler style.

I remember only one GPU at the time of writing that. Odd
