Do you think Cherry mx blues are ok for gaming?

They are good, but if gaming is the only thing you do then i wouldn't suggest them. Even IF they would not be good for gaming and you still like the feel, just get them.

I personally cannot stand the click they make, so they are a no go for me. However, it is your opinion that matters, not ours.

Blues are just fine for gaming, and I can certainly play FPS games with it quite nicely. But, having tried six different type of MX swicthes on my keyboards, I can say that Black and Clear are now my fave. Black and Clear are stiffer/heavier, but I like 'em for gaming, Blue is fine, but can be a tad annoying at times especially for atmospheric games like Alan Wake, Dead Space series and Metro series, the clicks can be distracting and ruins the atmosphere. For games like UT3 and Quake 3 Arena, the clicks do not distract me....that's why I prefer to have a variet of keyboards with different switches.....

I personally like Blues, much more than Blacks or Reds, I like actually knowing when I actuated the key, really nice when you are strafing, and you have to be accurate with your zig-zag

I'm perhaps a quarter into the game, pretty good imo, there were times when I'd be thinking, "How the heck am I gonna get past this?!" moments, nice atmosphere too, just that Blues aren't quite suited, unless you can totally tune out the noise. For this game, I prefer my Black, or Topre so as not to ruin the atmosphere.

I use blues for gaming and overall usage. I love them.

Personally my fingers get fatigued when I try to game on blues.

It's personal preference mostly, if you can, try them at a store or something, and compare to other switches to see what fits you the best.
