Extreamly slow download speeds

Appears to be just that site, I downloaded some 4k photos and the speeds seem fairly normal a bit slower then usual.

Then it must be on their end, if all else is working as expected.

   So I went to download a 1gb file and it's downloading at 10-20 KB/sec. OBGnMam.png

 

 

My speed test speed is this 4986033412.png

 

Steam isn't opened, the only thing open is Firefox and it's just on the LTT page. I really don't know what to do

Try rebooting your modem/router.

Try rebooting your modem/router.

On other downloads the speed is fine, and on speedtest it's fine, how would rebooting help?

First rule on IT, if it's doing something it shouldn't be doing- try rebooting first (modem/router not pc).

the server you are dowloading from may be limiting the download speed, if they have lots of clients

Wait I don't understand the problem here? 1.24Mb is very slow it would make sense you getting 20/30KB with that terrible speed? So your speeds are only slow downloading this file?

IDK, even my IT network professor at my univ suggests to even sometimes reboot in safe mode once in a while. I think he must have been thinking about pc registry. Did you at least reboot the device?

1.4 Megabits per second translates to around 170 kilobytes per second.
