4460, better IPS on Intel's side, will give you more single core performance in gaming, and more power per individual core

Depends what you're doing. 

 

For =/< 4 threaded applications, the 4460 is better. for applications that can use all 8 cores of the FX chip, it can do better. For the majority of applications, the i5 is the better choice.
