Ok seriously though.

OP, I actually do think you should grab it. Checked your build, you're rocking a 8320 (no iGPU). If your 270X ever die one day, your computer becomes unusable. You can use this free card as a backup card when your main GPU is sent of for replacement.

So yea, I'd say take it.

but he'll need a s-video cable or an adapter for that port that I can't remember the name of... (I have 3 of those btw...)

Hey if we're doing a graphics card show down here, here's a list of cards I still own today

Cards

2X EVGA GTX 960 SSC 4GB (Folding 24/7)

1X EVGA GTX 960 SSC 2GB (Folding 24/7)

1X EVGA GTX 950 FTW 2GB (In mail, will be Folding 24/7)

1X PNY GTX 950 XLR8 OC 2GB (Folding 24/7)

1X EVGA GTX 580 1.5GB

1X EVGA GTX 470 1.5GB

1X (OEM) GeForce 9600 GS 768MB

1X XFX HD 4870 512MB

1X HIS HD 3850 512MB AGP

1X EVGA FX 5700LE 256MB AGP

1X (OEM) FX 5700LE 128MB AGP

1X XFX FX 5200 256MB AGP

Still use most of them

I also still use these dedicated GPUs

1X GTX 460M 1.5GB (was Folding awhile)

1X GeForce 9400M G 256MB

1X GeForce 4 MX 64MB

1X ATI RAGE PRO 8MB

And one I don't use (busted screen on the laptop, too slow to use anymore anyway)

1X NeoMagic MagicMedia 256ZX 2MB or 4MB? (I can't remember exactly the ram size)

I think that's all of them i'm an Nvidia and EVGA Fan boy if you haven't been able to tell, in fact I don't use any of my ATI/AMD cards anymore except my 3850 because it's one of the most powerful cards I could get for my Pentium 4 extreme edition machine, I also use my RAGE PRO, because I never got around to buying a PCI Nvidia card to upgrade my PIII Dell OptiPlex GX1 yet. I used to have 2 OEM 9600XT 128MBs too but I sold one, and gave the other away. The 9600XT that was given away I installed in my old HP desktop, which upgraded with that card and added ram for my best friend's grandfather, it originally had an OEM Riva TNT2 M64 32MB, which I threw away, kind of wish I kept it now... I also gave my uncle my old Dell Dimension which had an OEM GeForce2 GTS Ultra 64MB... I had multiple laptops that either were given away or died, 1 had a 32MB ATI Moblity 4, 1 had a 32MB ATI Mobility Radeon, 1 had a GeForce 7400 Go 128MB and the last had an Intel GMA 3100... Oh yeah, I also had an VisionTek HD 2600 Pro AGP 256MB for about a week before I sold it for my 3850. That's every card I've owned since 2000, I had a few other computers before that but I was too young to remember what was in them, my first personal computer though was a Pionex tower with a Pentium MMX, that's all I can really remember about it though, got it for Christmas of 1997 when I was six, before then I played on my dad's computers, like his Pentium AST Advantage! he got in 1995 and also his 486SX Pionex (which he still has) and a few other classics... My Pentium MMX Pionex was the computer that got me interested in modifying and building PCs. ;)

Anyway nice collection of cards you have, I wish I could fold with all of my cards, then again the systems half the cards are in don't have enough power to do much of anything now these days.

Anyway like I said earlier, you have to have at least an HD 5000 series card to fold, The HD 2400 XT will not work, it would have before 2013 and client v7
