So, was looking for 1440p 144Hz 27 in to replace my asus 24in 144Hz.....  I was told by friend that bought with his account he found one for 408$.. Did not believe but said order before it sells out.

Best Buy has this for 600$ (50$ cheaper than Amazon).
 
Gonna chill out and keep gaming on my 144Hz and mess with the 27 in' while I research monitors more.  
 
I have to give this 144Hz to my cousin by the end of the month, however (promised him it).,
 
My 980 TI FTW's (evga) will be here  tomorrow.      If I game on 980 TI sli 1080P for more than 48 hours someone just put me out of my misery.

Bottlenecks, never seen someone bottle neck with a monitor with an OP system. I feel for you.

At that price, there was no way you'd be getting 144Hz at 1440p. Absolutely no way.

You should've read the specifications, so what are you doing now?

Look I got the 980TI's ftw by evga, a few other parts @ 25% off brand new.  Now, I was restricted to what I could buy but went HAM on what I could.. a monitor was not an option.  Now I am on a budget for a monitor.. can always resell a 980 heh
