Drunk Purchase

I am after a bit of advice. I may have placed a bid on eBay last night after one too many beers, and I'm not sure if I have been a colossal fool or not.

 

I got myself an Intel Celeron G1820 with heatsink for £15.00 including postage. Have I been a muppet, or will this be ok? I only plan to use Microsoft Office programs, browse the internet and use YouTube and play Football Manager 2016. Nothing heavy duty, right?

15? I could'a gone to like 30 and wouldn't have regretted it. Fairly cheapish cpu that can do fairly well in tasks that aren't too demanding.

You can play light games on it. You can even play games like Farcry 4 (just with a big bottleneck as that is not what the CPU is desgined for)

That actually seems like a really good price in my opinion, even if it were a drunken purchase.

Thats a dual core cpu, and FarCry 4 cannot even launch on any dual cores. The game itself is programmed to do so.

Thanks people. i think that the CPU will handle Football Manager which is good. I have £60 spare for a Graphics card, and was wondering what people thought of this? I know it's not a 750 or a 980 or anything, but I'm not planning on playing top modern games any time soon
