Is the Sound Blaster 5.1 vx any good in todays gaming?

So i got a sound card, PCI Sound Blaster 5.1 vx.

I needed to get a card quickly for a board.

Is is any good or should I upgrade soon?

If so please recommend an internal card.

It's probably fine. Audio tends to be the area that doesn't really need "upgrades." Headphones can last for 15 years and remain competitive, just as good, or even better than their newer counterparts.
