New Mouse For The New Year: Rival 300 or Deathadder Chroma?

Resseret

I've been looking at mice for my new setup and I've narrowed it down the the Deathadder Chroma and the Rival 300. Have any of you guys tried both? If so, which did you like better. I have only tried out the Deathadder, and I liked it quite a bit, so if someone could tell me their experience with the Rival 300 that would be great!

Deathadder gets my vote.

Sorry to kinda drag this on but, any specific reasons why over the Rival? I really just want to make the most informed purchase ^_^

doesn't have to be the rival, but please not a razer mouse. Unless you get it with an extended warranty

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

Avoid Razer, As I own 3 of their peripherals and they all suck, Rival is easily better

I have Razer mouse (Naga) and I've had no issues with it, just to have an alternative viewpoint in this thread.

Anything Razer typically has sub par build quality, I'd recommend getting pretty much anything else. A Corsair M65, Steel Series Rival, or Logitech G502 are all great alternatives to anything Razer.

Mixed results. I see... Any other replies are welcome, but I'll have to try the Rival to see which gets my vote. Until then, this topic is not exactly solved xD

Razer is known for bad Quality for its price. I wouldnt buy it.

The Features compared to other mice is laughable too.

The old Blackwidow was excellent, with Cherry MX switches and wonderful build quality. The new ones really aren't that great (DEFINITELY not worth asking price.)

that is TOTAL bullshit...yes some products are overpriced and they tend to do these ''halo'' products once in a while but they are EXCELLENT quality i used deathadder mice for the past 10 years+ and i only needed two of them, i game and use the computer at least 3 to 5 hours everyday.

Naga Hex is so shitty, my $15 Wireless Logitech mouse was better

The BlackWidow I own is alright though any Ducky, Cordair, ECT is better then it by a long shot

Don't even get me started on the Kraken Pros.

Zowie, Mionix, Corsair ALL have better nice then Razer. FAR BETTER...

Owning 4 Razer products is being clueless?

I've owned the Naga Hex, Deathadder, Black widow Ultimate and Kraken Pros. All suck... The only REASONABLE one is the keyboard. The Naga Hex is worst mouse I've used, and the a Mionix Castor, Mionix NAOS 7000, SteelSeries Rival beat every Razer mouse.

And those mice would be...?

I didn't like the G502 if you're going to say that. The shape just isn't for me. The M65 felt awkward in my hand if you were going to suggest that as well. I have big hands, I play CS:GO and I need RGB for my setup (yes, I am a color coordinator)

Well i use claw grip. So the mice i would use are out of the Question. Logitech and Corsair are both Brands you can buy with a very high chance of top Quality.
