Moving the router would not give you brain cancer... Just get a signal extender and place that in the room inbetween.

your best bet is a powerline adapter

it did not , it costs 50$ , how do you know its a joke man? i have to get something like that i dont know what to do with my home network.. one computer got 50mb , all the other got 1mb

Think about what you're saying!!

You're having problems with the signal strength as it is and you want to place your router in a box that will block 90% of rf emissions.

Just let that sink in for a minute.

Get exposed to what? wifi? C'mon, let's get real now. You sound like one of those people that refuse to eat food that was in a microwave because of the "radiation".

Electromagnetic waves, radio waves, rf radiation; it's all the same thing. It is what is called non-ionizing radiation. It does not give you brain cancer.

You're thinking of ionizing radiation. That would be UV, X-rays and gamma rays.

Read this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-ionizing_radiation

Once you're done that, put the router in your room and enjoy your perfect wireless connection.

The RF transmission strength from Cellphone Towers (3G/4G etc), AM/FM radio and TV is much stronger than a small WiFi access point. You could tape an access point to your head permanently and you would sooner die from be struck by a car while crossing the road, due to the access point blocking your view.

Everything that uses or generates electricity emits some form of electromagnetic radiation, this is a simple fact of modern life and is inescapable unless you go live under a rock far out in the middle of nowhere.

Time to seek professional help as your EM radiation phobia is impacting severely on your life. This is an intervention by a random stranger, you need help.

Powerline adapters are usually a method of last resort. If you can put the router in your room, just put it there.

My brother is afraid the radiation will hurt me, because i aleardy had cancer so thats why its an issue.. Ill probqbly get the powerline =)

I'm sorry you that you had to suffer that and I'm glad that you were able to pull through.

Being ignorant of the truth does not help anybody. It's like thinking that you get the flu from going outside on a cold day with no jacket; if that's your thinking, you'll never stop to think about proper handwashing and taking care in public places and so you'll continue catching the flu every year.

Radio waves have not ever, nor will they ever cause anybody to have cancer. Human physiology simply does not work like that.

Your brother worries about the radio waves causing cancer...does he worry about the thousands of known carcinogenic chemicals that you probably have in your home this very moment? Does he make you put on sunscreen every time you go onto into the sun to protect you from the KNOWN cancer causing UV radiation from the sun?

You do whatever you want, but this idea of perpetuating ignorance to appease the ignorant is killing progress in modern society.

Powerline Adapter - Save the receipt and don't damage the box when opening in case it doesn't work for you.

Don't waste money on range extenders, chances are no one in your home even knows how to configure your current router correctly, nothing worse than adding another router into the mix. Powerline adapters are plug-and-play, or at most require pushing a single button on each end.

Again I urge you to get professional help for the phobia, its severely impacting your quality of life. You need the sort of help only a medical professional can provide, I can appreciate how you got there but while the cancer was cured your view of the world has not survived unscathed and needs treatment.
