Help me with this psu choice

Hey folks,

well here is my story, i want to buy a psu

well im from mexico, and there is an amazon mexico

i want to buy a 650w psu cuz that is what my pc need, but in amazon mexico there is not a evga g2,

the one i can get is a 750w evga g2, at almost the same price

the 750w evga g2 at 1825.66 mexican peso = 104.06 dollars (1dollar = 17.55 pesos)

i would go for the 750W since the price difference is not that far. :D

and those rumors about using a psu with more wattage than the pc can use, can degrade the components and all that, is that true??

No. That's just the maximum output that the PSU can handle. Comparison logic: if you buy a truck that can haul 7500 lbs but only put 5000 lbs in it, you're fine.
