I am just testing memory with memtest and while it's testing I can see that program shows 1333mhz 14 16 16 35. Why is that? That's ddr4 2400 memory and I changed speed to 2133. Why there is 1333?

Are you sure you're running it at DDR-2133 speed? Because 1333 MHz is the speed your memory would run at setting it to DDR3-2666 speed. Similarly, DDR3-2400 runs at 1200 MHz and DDR3-1600 runs at 800 MHz. Memory speed is rated in MT/s (mega transfers per second) instead of MHz (mega clock cycles per second) since DDR3 can do two transfers per clock cycle (eg once on the rise and once on the fall of the clock, where the clock is a periodic square wave signal).

I am sure it runs 2133 because I checked in bios today morning. I am wondering why memtest shows 1333. I really struggle with my pc showing differend errors on mobo's display ( FE, AA, AE, 72, 73 ) So that's why I run memtest to find out if this is the problem.

It's perfectly fine. I am sitting at 3200mhz CL15-15-15-30-CR1 with a 4.66ghz pentium, and memtest86 reads my CPU speed at 1400mhz, and memory speed at 2133mhz CL13-13-13-35. As long as your bios and programs (Aida64, CPU Z, etc) read your correct timings and speeds, you are good to go.

@okar

PC 21300 is 2666 MHz...

It's reading it right, the base clock is 1333 MHz

yep it reads half of effective speeds

Your DDR4 memory is currently running at the "fail safe" default 2133 MHz (1066).

JEDEC are the standard settings programmed into your memory sticks (just like common laws and regulations, there are some specific minimum requirements memory must follow).

XMP Profile #1 set your memory to run at 2400 MHz (1200), and XMP Profile #2 allows the memory to operate at 2666 MHz (1333).
