Increase Steam download speed?

My peaks speed is ca 9.7 MB/s and I want to know if I can increase it a bit.

Maybe 10 (something) MB/s?

I live in Sweden.

 

My average up is 70 to 90 MB/s and down is 60 to 90 MB/s

 

Update:

I have tried Switching from Sweden's steam server to Germany's (berlin) thinking that it would be faster because of the increased "total" bandwith there.

I saw it had 0.5 pb more than Sweden's server.

I am not sure if it is faster though.

Maybe a 1-3 MB more.

Can't change it without buying faster internet. and its also limited by steam

So where is the limit on this? I get 40 Mbps down from my isp but can never run downloads faster than 5? Is it my schiesty router? My pc is Ethernet connected with 2 ports

Try using speedtest.net and change from megabites to megabytes.

For future reference though.

8 Mb <=> 8 Mbit = 1 MB <=> 1 MByte

 

So if you divide your mbit/s with 8 you will get Mbyte/s
