Either way yes, insiders get the OS for free. You need to download the iso (can be found on MS's website) and login with your insider account.

I personally loaded the windows insiders version on my pc for windows 10 and when the ability to upgrade from it came I did it right away. In the end I got a free copy of windows 10 pro. Hopefully this was helpful!

Free? pirated, yes.

Cheap? a "legit" key from windows 7+8 can go cheap as $5 on ebay and other sites, then just upgrade from there.

Linux? It's just a OS, no one needs to code anything, please stop over reaction. It's like saying using YouTube instead of watching TV requires a knowledge of the internet.

You can also try what others have suggested. Unlicensed will be very ugly and have a black background and annoying pop ups every now and then saying you need to register or login into your Microsoft account ext. to use X and Y.

Prettier and easier to use Distro is Elementary imo, look amazing and is Debian based so lots of support from Ubuntu and other mainstream forums.

Fedora is also nice, but Red Hat based systems are a tad more server and stability based, still good choice tho.

Another good choice will be Zorin, lots of people have also recommended it for looking "Windows like".

Or if you are trying to play it 100% safe, just install Ubuntu, best support you can get on Linux, or Kubuntu which is Ubuntu with KDE, a windows like desktop feel.

I have seen so many threads about people asking where to download it, unfortunately they have the written language skills of a 11 year old and it sounds like they are trying to pirate.

Well i have it cracked ,after 6 months the message appeared , i didnt lose any features and i can still update windows and nothing is interupted

Old stereotypes die hard I guess.... I'm not that good at programming, but I know my way round a Linux machine with no programming involved. If you're not familiar with terminals and shit, I'd stay away from Arch Linux, but some Ubuntu distro will suit you fine. They're made for techies and non techies alike.
