@ OP if you need an nVidia card you can have a look into a used GTX960 or GTX970. The GTX950 isn´t really a good choice to buy.

Personally I don't care about brands and I go where my money brings me, in the end I want the best bang out of my buck, so I don't choose brands first. Good luck OP.
