New Modem and now my ports aren't forwarding?

So after upgrading my WiFi speed and then changing the modem out, I was still ported on my net-gear (stand alone router). However I knew I had to re-port on the New 'Bell HUB 1000' and even after doing so I still could not connect to my MC (test) server to test if the port has successfully worked. So my network layout is some what like this:

SERVER ---> Router(builtin switch) ------> Modem(with builtin router but disabled) ---> ISP(AKA INTERNET)

On the server end minecraft (what I'm testing with) is running on port 25565 and 25575 (two servers) have have the internal ip of 192.168.1.14. Both the Router(Net Gear) and modem have the (25565 and 25575) ported so I don't know why it is not working. Any ideas? The server is also running an DNS server so the server can be connected to with out  the IP.

So you replaced the old netgear router with the shitty one your isp gave you? They probably disabled port forwarding on their own routers.

My native language is C++

This is what I'm thinking because there older router, you had access to all the setting in it, this one just gives you a dumbed down version with little to no compatibility. Which I need since I host multiple servers from home. But like the internet works, like the modem is ported to 25565 and the router is also ported to 25565 so I have no idea why I can't connect from my external IP. I feel like even though I ported on there (New) modem it still isn't recognizing it.
