So right now I have a i5 4670k and I am looking to upgrade.

The reason for this is i have noticed that more and more games are using more cpu power.

What would be a good upgrade around 300ish dollars that would be suitable for games like arma 3 which use a lot of cpu power.

Oh and it is a lga 1150.

jumping from an i5 4670k to an i5 4690k or i7 4790k isn't really that big of an upgrade imo.... just overclock your 4670k.

If i was you i would wait to the i7 4790k comes on sale :)

The 4790k would be the only upgrade really, but the increase will be small, not worth the cost. Oc your 4690k. Maybe but a decent aio if you don't have one already
