if the specs of the rest of the build dont change (same gpu, same amount of ram, same specs on the motherboard aside from chipset, same everything else) i'd say 6600k

 

both because skylake's single core performance makes up for the loss of HT, and because i've seen i5 overclock significantly better than i7.
