According to the rules, this is where new guys say hi. I've never been apart of a community-based forum before, but I like technology and have found myself with more questions then answers when it comes to taking it all in. And I listen to the Youtube channel so figured why not give it a go? Don't know if ya'll need my life story or not, but here's a reader's digest version for those who are actually curious.

I'm quite the gamer, love me some FPSs and RTSs. Some of the major titles I play include CS:GO, Dod:Source, Supreme Commander, C&C Generals, Rome II Total War, GTA V, Half-Life and Starcraft. I don't mind the occasional RPG; I did enjoy Fallout 3 and Skyrim but anything much further (I'm thinking WoW) is pretty much out of my scope. Looking for new titles that I may not have heard of so if you think it's a good one let me know, always looking for a new favorite. Love making my rig look nice so I'm always swapping components it seems. Right now I'm on a black and green theme, and it's hard as hell trying to find components that fit that color scheme. Give a shout if you know of a mobo that has that theme going on!

Not sure if ya'll even care about my personal life, but I did a stint in the United States Army for six years as an infantryman. Got deployed, lost some of my sanity, came back and now am looking to get a degree in IT (graduate in May '16). Married, no kids (that I know of). Love to read and write and basically try and keep up to date on the newest tech. I'm on Steam too if anyone is interested in a casual fight in something.

These posts probably get glossed over so I ain't expecting much in terms of replies, but am looking forward to contributing in any way I can. I might not be the most active on the forums because of my job, but hey I'll do what I can. Ya'll have already been helpful on my Z97 question on the CPU/Motherboard section, so thanks a lot. Guess that'll do for now.

Hello and welcome to LTT :D

as for games I'd recommend Shadowrun Hong Kong for a story RPG, and Warframe if you want a shooter/MMO crossover/what Destiny should have been

as for a green/black motherboard I recommend the MSI 100M GPUs and Gigabyte Z87 motherboards if you MUST have green / black

Want a good game to play?  Check out Shadowrun: http://store.steampowered.com/app/300550/ (runs on literally any hardware)

Just saying 'hi' back!

Here's a question: you said you've played Fallout 3, what about New Vegas?

Nope, someone gifted me Fallout 3 and while I enjoyed it, I didn't have enough drive to purchase anything after that. Fallout 4 looks pretty tight though.

Thank you for your service.

Thank you for the support

Yeah I noticed that only Z87 had the style I'm looking for, but since I already got Z97 I don't think it'd be wise to take a step backwards. An all black one would be pretty slick too. I'll have to do some Googling on those games, never heard of them. Thanks for the advice!

Welcome to the LinusKekTits forum!

You'll get addicted to tech pretty quick.

Make sure to tune into Wan Show every week for the latest news!

I think you'll like it here.

I think I saw an episode of that, it was pretty cool. I think I'll try and tune in more often.

I'll do my best, lol. Mods and I tend to get a long okay, I'm probably the most boring user on the Internet.
