if you only did the upgrade

you should now do a clean install

Have you restarted the computer?

What do you mean by "not working"?

I have restarted the computer several times and the windows menu in the left hand corner will not open. I have tryed everything to get it to open even the clean install of windows 10. If i had a windows 10 os i would try that but i dont. Tryed restarting the explorer.exe file as well didnt work
