Recently (for about 1 week) my CPU temps have jumped to 100 degrees celsius. I would be playing a game like CSGO and receive around 230 fps, then after playing for another 10 minutes the temp would max out and the frames would crash to around 30. The same thing happened with Fallout. After restarting my computer, I was forced into the bios everytime and tried to change some settings but the mouse wouldn't move from the middle of the pc. Since then, I have tried reapplying thermal paste which didn't help and the radiator of my cooler lets out cold air. I just started a benchmark and immediately the temps shot up from 30 to 100 but after the test was done the temps stayed there. I am not overclocked.

My build: i5-4690k, corsair h60, asus 970 strix, phanteks enthoo pro, 2 additional 120mm fans, and the z97a motherboard.

is your pump running?

are the fans on your radiator running?

have you dusted your case recently?

did you try replacing the thermal paste?

So u want me to stick my head in case?

It should be audible with your ear near it, you don't need to put your head all the way in the case  :D

Also I forgot to ask what stress testing program are you using?

That's not a good sign, is the BIOS showing any RPM readings for the pump, if not for sure send out a warranty claim.
