CS:GO settings?

 For some reason my settings all defaulted to absolute max resulting in higher than usual temps and almost giving me a heart attack. Anyone else noticing this?

new update has auto setting for graphics options. 

 

haven't noticed temp changes.

you can imagine my jaw dropping when I saw that instead of 72*C I was getting 82*C on the CPU lol

I got a laptop - difference between 20% load and 60% load on all 8 CPU threads is vast

Heh, I run it at max anyways, so I wouldn't know.

It auto adjusts for me too, but i have zero difference in FPS on low VS maxed with 32xAA.

With a giant radiator on my GPU temps barely hit 38C. So if there's 'temp changes' they are hugely unnoticed.

Yes indeed - I have 200 fps either way, but one way gives me 10*C less for focusing all the load on one core

I have a fairly decent copper heatsink. Enough for the 860M and i7

Nope, mine is still the same

I like it quite a bit - it's full metal with the exception of the hinge cover (like 99% of laptops) and it's VERY sturdy.

If I cared to undervolt the CPU and iGPU a bit and dimmed everything down and put it all on power saved (extra slowness) I could probably manage 5 hours of internet browsing
