200mm Fans Needed!

Mundlier
Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

My NZXT Phantom. I find It getting too hot inside so I want to buy a temporary fan until I can save up for decent water cooling. It's not blistering hot, just a nice mild hot. Nothing serious.

well 200mm fans are pretty uncommon and not very good

you would get better airflow from two 120 or 140mm fans, if you can fit those in your case

I need 200mm fans but Nocuta or Be Quite don't sell them. Which other company (that offers 200mm) is the quietest?

Mate, you don't need 200mm fans. I concur with @Enderman; go and get some 140mm if you really want the biggest and most effective you can get.

NZXT has a (I assume) good fan that is likely made for their own cases.

166.2 CFM according to PCPartPicker There are also LED variants for a little more (this at $20)

Not a bad fan at all, I don't understand why everyone is against 200mm fans, aside from the stupid fact that they are uncommon enough that many companies think they can use whatever mounting they so please to!

nzxt fan spots can be a wierd size, stick with nzxt fans if you buy a big fan otherwise as stated go with a pair of 120/140 depending on where they fit

HAF-x,  silverstone op1000, 4670k 1.28v 4.3ghz,  gigabyte g1 sniper z87,  gskill ares 1866 2x4gb,  EVGA gtx 970 FTW 1518/7800, ocz vertex 4 128gb, seagate SSHD 2Tb
