I want to build a AMD computer, now stop ik all of you are like OMG Intel i5 so much better... I don't care

I would like to know which of these is the best for overclocking

Here are the the processors with some reasoning on why they might be the best for overclocking.(correct me if I am wrong)

AMD FX-8350

AMD FX-8370-Refined 8350, possibly better???

AMD FX-8370E-better OC due to power efficiency???

AMD FX-9370- Clock maybe to high for good OC

AMD FX-9590- Clock is to high to overclock, basically maxed already

Possibly forgot something.

Just curious. Thanks

9590 if you don't want to mess around with binning 8350/8370.

You already know it's going to do 5-5.1ghz out of the box basically with some tuning.

Keep in mind if you want to be seriously overclocking any of these chips, you'll want a crosshair Z board.

I'm not sure what you want. Do you want the best performance/highest clock or the highest overclock difference from the standard clock?

Is this for experimentation, or a specific use scenario where AMD is better?

990FXA-UD5/7 are other good AM3+ boards, skip MSI as possible.

If he's serious about overclocking amd, the crosshair board has no rivals :P

If only i had money...:/

What a great time to have money when there will be motherboards on sale...

You can find good condition used ones a lot for around 100

8350 or 9590, since those are the highest binned chips. Also dont forget you will need a 220w board whatever chip you choose. A 5ghz 8350 is no different than a 9590 and needs a special board in order to be powered correctly.
