Go for a locked i5 (i5-4460) and a MSI H97 PC MATE.

 

Dont go with a H81 mATX board at least because the chipset and expansion possibilities leave alot to be desired.

A few Issues: Youre getting a non-refrence card but you have a stock CPU cooler. It's not worth upgrading from a 960 to a 390.

If you're referring to what I made for him how would a stock cooler and non reference card be bad lol

I was reffering to his build, but yours too as I looked at It now. Stock coolers hit over 60 degrees celcius with a refrence card, and even hotter as non refrence cards heat up the case and the rest of the components.

He didn't have a stock cooler and trust me if stock with non reference was problem a lot of people wouldn't do it including me
