Can this Gaming rig last for 3-4 years?

Shreyas1307

If he has two he's more likely to have more apps running at once.

Ooh in that sense.

More chrome tabs perhaps :P

For gaming, the stronger cores of an OC'd i5 are likely a better choice.

well , the hyperthreaded cpu will be more future proof imo, but anyway

Haha, the exact reason I needed 16GB of RAM in my new rig ;)

How dare you use the F word with me!

Haha, but yea. That's the proverbial dilemma. More threads or more power. It's hard to say what the future will hold but at the rate they've been going 4 stronger cores should last at least the next 4 years. I mean, I hope they go all out and utilize more, but let's be real. Dev's aren't exactly quick to adopt new ideas.

Unrelated but for real though, your signature?.... Have been gaming on CX PSU for years without issue. Unless you have actual experience, don't bother jumping on the hate train.

The system will, the gpu might get a bit weak after 2-3 years, but should still  be supported by the newest games. How weak it becomes might deoend how big a jump the next gpu generations give us, if the devs have access to more powerful hardware, they'll use it.

i had its father, the gs 600, (most cx 600-750-850 are gs series rebrand) and it was meh, sometimes it would not boot with a keyboard connected to a usb3, had to unplug and replug after the boot. Also my 280x was artifacting/ giving black screen (sound would still play normally).I now have a seasonic G 650 semi-modular, and i can see the the difference, i have not  much issues since then.
