So I'm running a cx600m with an i5 3470 and a gtx 960 ssc ,and for the better part of a year have had no issues, but I was wondering if it is worth replacing for a higher quality unit if everything is running fine now.The only reason I ended up with the cx600 was it was a Christmas gift ,otherwise I would have probably gone for something a little higher quality.

If you have spare money laying around, sure. Else wait until you upgrade other pc parts.

For the specs you have, it will not be an issue with that unit, it's mainly frowned upon when people build a very high end build for overclocking with a CX series.

If everything is running fine, you would be better of upgrading the PSU when you upgrade some other part of the PC like the gpu.

Except this isn't a very high end rig, so the vid isn't justified this time

Except you could cool it with saliva so the heat isn't an issue because they take no power at all.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Nothing wrong with the cx line. Dont listen to the bandwagon haters. Im using a cx500 in my rig and have zero problems and zero fear that it will ever give me problems. No need to waste your money replacing something that doesnt need replacing. Spend your money on something else :)

PC Audio Setup = Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 80 ohm and Sennheiser pc37x (also for xbox) hooked up to Schiit Fulla 3
