But as for your actual question, someone more qualified will probably have to help you.

What kind of construction are the walls? Typical stick frame and drywall, plaster and lathe, brick? What type of usage do you need? Typical internet browsing, network file transfers (one pc to another), video streaming? Regardless to get good coverage (especially if you care about 5ghz) over that large of a house you are likely going to need multiple access points.

For almost 7000 sq feet, it'd be difficult depending on factors such as medians and material. For that price, maybe the ac1900 nighthawk or titan from amped wireless. But I doubt even that'd do the job well enough depending on what you're doing in that area. You might need to set up some access points.

im not sure what the construction is but its probably the typical one and ill be mostly using it for video streaming

A completely clear 5GHz or me on an R7000 is covering 3000 sq feet with decent performance. I think 2 of that class of hardware could cover that sort of area, maybe a third would be necessary.

i have two amped wireless routers but i like to walk around a lot when listening to music (weird habit) and i hate having to switch between the two

Set them to the same SSID and your devices should switch between the two. For music streaming there tends to be a fairly decent buffer so the transition between the two shouldn't be an issue. And TBH you're not going to find any single AP that will cover that area properly. You're going to need to use at least two.

If you set them to the same SSID/password combo your devices should be able to jump back and forth. However say you are watching a video while walking around, you may see a disturbance for a few seconds when you cross from one to the next.

If you want completely or at least more seamless handoff you would likely need to go with devices that were designed with that in mind, typically stuff that is on the edge of enterprise. Picking up 2 Ubiquiti Unifi AP AC Lite's and strategically placing them would likely give you pretty good blanket coverage, offer near seamless handoff, and stay withing your $200 limit.

Given coverage is the main aim then a pair of "Long Range" Ubiquiti APs would probably be a better fit.

That said it's not like consumer grade hardware doesn't allow roaming. I've had mixed success personally. When I had a pair of older, wireless N APs devices would often refuse to roam at all. When they did they'd frequently lose internet connectivity but only when roaming. When I upgraded to a pair of DLink wireless AC APs? They worked fantastically. Zero issues, devices gladly swap APs. Given @spartaman64 already has the gear it's probably best to see whether it behaves or not first before spending money.
