Can you use in-wall and in-ceiling speakers?

Yamaha 7.2 receiver: http://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-RX-V675-Channel-Network-Receiver/dp/B00B981F1U/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1377563884&sr=8-6&keywords=7.1+reciever

Center channel: http://www.amazon.com/JBL-ES25CBK-Center-Channel-Speaker/dp/B00166VDKS/ref=pd_sim_e_1

Subwoofer (buy two): http://www.amazon.com/JBL-ES250PBK-High-Performance-12-Inch-Subwoofer/dp/B00166ZFSO/ref=pd_sim_e_2

Side channels (buy 3 pairs): http://www.amazon.com/JBL-ES30BK-3-Way-Bookshelf-Speaker/dp/B00167341S/ref=pd_sim_e_9

Total ~ $1730

You can replace front Left and Right with a floor standing speaker for $300 on top of the above total. You can add a subwoofer to each channel for a total of about $3330.

Something along these lines is my dream setup - I trust JBL to sound great for the price on past experience with their products.

This is not the right forum to ask this question, I would try other ones.

Why can't he ask this here?

You happen to know about what cables to get?

for speaker wire, it depends on how long the runs are.

when in doubt or if you just want overkill, I'd just grab some cheapo 16awg speaker wire or lamp cord from a local hardware shop or radioshack.

Will work for electronic components and parts

For speaker cable I use Figure8 flex, it is basically the power cable you get with radios, lamps, cd/dvd players, etc.  Rated at 240V 7.5amps its good for speakers up to 300 watts and around ten metres.

For speakers a few I'd look at are:

Yamaha, cerwin vega, leowe, warfdale. to name a few.

Lol, as Turkatron so kindly pointed out, my recommendation still fits, even with the floorstanding Left and Right.  :P

They make nice-looking products and take nice-looking pictures for their website.

I'm not big into home theater, and I've never heard of them before, so that's all I know.

Now all I gotta do is buy out an abandoned salt mine and build an acoustically sealed room to put these in.

Well with in his price range too.
